Trenchless Technologies
Why Trenchless?
Havens utilizes two leading-edge Trenchless Technologies as alternatives to open-cut replacement.
Trenchless technology, often referred to as no-dig construction, is an alternative and complement to traditional open-cut construction methods. Some of the major benefits of trenchless technology include: environmentally friendly, minimal disturbance to surroundings, decreased rehabilitation time, saves time, and saves money.
Cured-In-Place-Pipe
Havens’ partner for cured-in-place pipe is Waterline Renewal Technologies (WRT)™, a leading provider of engineered technologies used in the trenchless rehabilitation of wastewater/stormwater infrastructure for municipal, commercial, industrial, and residential applications.
Havens is a licensed installer of both LMK and Perma-Liner products. Both brands represent best-in-class main and lateral rehabilitation solutions that are fully compliant with industry ASTM certifications F2561, F3240, F2599, F1216, F3097, and F3033.

Launching and receiving pits replace the trench needed by conventional pipe-laying.
Pipe Bursting
Pipe bursting is defined as a trenchless replacement method for renewal of deteriorated and undersized pipelines in which the existing pipe is broken, either by brittle fracture or by splitting, using an internal mechanically applied force applied by a bursting tool. At the same time, a new pipe of the same or larger diameter is pulled in replacing the existing pipe.
